L. Downham & Askham Bryan

Jan had six runners at Little Downham, the best result going to Drumgiven Mr Charisma who placed third in the open novice.

Primiro jumped double clear in the BE100Open for 10th, Swhiskey just missed a top 10 finish in the novice after an expensive showjumping round, My Cool Gold only just out of the ribbons – again in the BE100Open.

On to Askham Bryan where Omard Lady Lot made a cracking BE debut with a dressage score completion at BE90Open and a runner up spot. Jeanette also bagged two BE100 fifth place finishes with My Cool Gold and Primiro, while My Forever Blue did a lovely test, rolled a pole and jumped a steady clear across country.

Ruth William’s four-year-old One Night Only had her first grown up party, performing a sweet test followed by a couple of green moments in both jumping phases but she will have learnt loads. She’s just as feisty as her mother and found it all very exciting!

Katy and Chill Chick had another good BE 100 run to finish their season and Becky and Burton’s Girl finished their season on a high with a fabulous double clear in the BE90, just a couple of speeding penalties costing them a top placing.
