Llanymynech

Jeanette had a good first outing with Drumgiven Mr Charisma in the Open Novice at Llanymynech – the pair finished in fourth place. Meanwhile Swhiskey posted his best novice result to date, placing ninth after a steady double clear.

Three horses ran at BE90 level, all running hors concours due to the jockey’s competition level. My Cool Gold and My Forever Blue made their affiliated debuts with lovely double clears. Primero was also a first-timer, but had one green blip across country – otherwise spot on.

Becky Murfin posted her first top five finish, riding Burton’s Girl – also in the BE90.
