The boys were contesting the 3*S at Burgham last weekend.

Sally Hayward and Mary MacGregor’s Drumgiven Mr Charisma (pictured) did a lovely test for 31.2, had one unlucky rail showjumping and then jumped a fabulous clear across country to finish 11th in his section. He’s now got all his MER’s for Blenheim 8/9yo’s so all being well, we’ll work towards that.

Swhiskey, owned by Molly Jackson and Rupert Neal, did a mistake free test for 32.6, got a bit stuck in the mud showjumping and had three down, but jumped a great clear across country. It’s the first time he’s had ground like that and he’ll have learnt a lot from it. Such an exciting seven-year-old.

The weather was unkind and there was a lot of mud – the lorry park team worked so hard to keep towing people in/out, the cross country team working on takeoff’s and landings etc, which was so appreciated.
