Aston-le-Walls

For the second event running, Jeanette had eight runners at Aston-le-Walls and she has resolved a few glitches from Osberton.

Ruth Williams’ One Night Only (pictured) posted a BE100 win, leading from pillar to  post and finishing on her 26.5 dressage score. Jill Sackett’s Primiro nearly made it a double, runner up in the BE100Open, two speeding penalties costing him the win.

At novice level Mark Johnson and Yvonne Mott’s My Cool Gold added just 1.6 time penalties to a 26 dressage for third place, with Mike Elvin’s Cougar Mail ninth in her section. My Forever Blue and Jack Daniels each rolled a pole but jumped cross country clears.

Swhiskey also had a rail down followed by a steady clear in the intermediate, whilst Drumgiven Mr Charisma finished just outside the top 10 courtesy of a 29 dressage and double clear in the open intermediate.

Next stop, Bicton.
