Aston-le-Walls

Jeanette had a great time in the 3*S.

Drumgiven Mr Charisma, owned by Sally Hayward and Mary MacGregor, did a much improved 31.6 test and a jumped a fabulous double clear. He’s a real head turner and much loved by the team.

Molly Jackson and Rupert Neal’s Swhiskey put in a fabulous performance in his first 3*S. He posted a 33.8 dressage score, had one pole down and jumped a confident clear across country. Jeanette is feeling very proud of this seven-year-old ex-race horse.

The day didn’t end as planned when they lost power on the M1 (fuel pipe burst) and ended up stranded on the left hand side with no hard shoulder. Thankfully the police responded quickly and closed the M1 North and Southbound as well as the M42 connecting junction whilst we unloaded and swapped the boys onto the recovery lorry. Apologies to all other road users! Scary times, but everyone got home safe.
